A bit about Peter.

Peter Berner is without a doubt one of Australia's most popular and respected comics. 

Peter hosts his own weekly news show, The B Team with Peter Berner, on Sky News Live. Live every Friday and Saturday night at 9pm AEST, Peter and his panel dissect the week's other news headlines. Peter offers his unique and lively take on the lighter side of the news and events making headlines.

Peter started his career as a stand-up comedian in 1988 and has performed at various prestigious festivals, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Sydney Comedy Festival, the Adelaide Comedy Festival an Just For Laughs - just to name a few. His intelligent humour has always set him apart as a performer who can comfortably straddle comedy styles as disparate as satire, observational comedy and reactive comedy with easy. 

Peter's major TV hosting roles have been Backberner (1999 - 2002) and The Einstein Factor (2004 - 2009), both in ABC TV. All up he has presented more 300 hours of national television program content and has been nominated for two Logie awards for Most Outstanding Comedy Series in 2000 and 2002. Peter also hosted the 2004 Australian Film Institute Awards and in 2011 he hosted You Have Been Watching for The Comedy Channel.

On FM radio, Peter has been the breakfast co-host of Triple M's The Cage (2007), which was networked live each day along the east coast, and has also hosted his own solo radio show, The Peter Berner Experiment (2008 - 2009), on Triple M. On AM radio he has hosted weekend afternoon on 2UE (2012).

A talented artist and cartoonist, Peter is a graduate of the National Art School who has exhibited his work in galleries across the world. His interest in the craft has never wained, and in 2009 Peter co-wrote and hosted The Loaded Brush, a factual special for ABC TV where he interviewed artists who had entered The Archibald prize.

Peter released his first book in 2015 titled The Book of He, which was a collection of original humourous illustrations about modern life from the perspective of a very ordinary man.
