Tim McMillan is a respected journalist, broadcaster and winner of two prestigious Quill awards.
As a broadcast journalist, Tim has been the 6pm weeknight anchor for Nine News Perth, national Today host (filling in for Karl Stefanovic), reporter for ABC Radio Perth, ABC Radio Melbourne and Nine News Sydney.
Tim has covered major breaking news events including the final Azaria Chamberlain inquest, the Beaconsfield inquest, the Black Saturday bushfires, the prosecutions of high profile underworld figures Carl Williams and Tony Mokbel, Schappelle Corby's release from Bali's Kerobokan prison and Australia's largest ever terrorism trial.
Tim's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (UWA) and a degree in Broadcasting (WAAPA). His excellence in journalism has been recognised with two Quill Awards for Best Television News Report in 2009 and 2011.
Tim is married with a young son and loves to spend weekends on the beaches of Perth with his family... when he's not reading geeky science books and blogs.
