SUNRISE - Grant Denyer returnsMonday 25th January 2010 marks the start of a new era for Australia's favourite breakfast show. From today, Sunrise will have a new look, a new feel and a new format. Director of Morning Television Adam Boland says it’s time for a change. “These are the biggest changes since the show started in 2002,” Boland said. “Our audience has changed over the years so we are changing with them. Their viewing habits have evolved and they want different things. We will never lose sight of the fact Sunrise is driven by our viewers. They decide the agenda. These changes are because they asked for them.” One of the biggest changes is the presenting team. David Koch, Melissa Doyle, Natalie Barr and Mark Beretta, will be joined by Grant Denyer, who is returning home to the Sunrise Family. Grant is reprising his role as weather presenter and will kick off his tour of Australia on a postie bike.
